The month of February has been, undeniably, busy and challenging. But the faithfulness of our Dear Lord never ceases to amaze us. We had plenty of events this February, we praise God that His presence was with us through it all, and to finish off the month, we held an event in celebration of the love of God. We have to admit that we had little time in preparing for the love concert. Everyone was challenged; spiritually, emotionally and physically. In the end the greatness of God is never bounded by how much time we have or by how little strength we’ve got, but with His grace we managed to pull off the concert.
To start the event the Children ministry prepared a number that highlighted their God – given talents as they sing and play the instruments to proclaim the love of the Lord. The dance number of the CYN girls immediately followed it. The Couples Ministry prepared a very heart-warming production number, where each couple serenade one another with love songs that every one can’t help but sing into. To finish the night, the CYN performed a musical skit about how true love waits. It was centered on the theme of building relationships around God.
We were in awe of God’s anointing in the lives of the people that were involved and we were deeply moved by the great feedback the people gave us after the event. It was not the performance of the people but it was God’s presence that satisfied and blessed the people that were present in the concert. This event will always be a testimony of God’s never ending love and faithfulness to His people.
